Our culture imprinted on coffee packages.
As a young agency by the time, It was intimidating to work with one of the most important franchises that Puerto Rico has. The challenge with El Mesón was to bring the design from “before” to “now.” We focused on the nostalgia of past times, when the farmers were the working force of this country.
And that's how we started to draw visual concepts for the brand. The illustrations were inspired by classic boricua paintings from artists like Rafael Tufiño and Lorenzo Homar, among others, while still making it look modern.
